Vocabulary

  • Responsibility: an accountability to the work one is called to do
  • Sacrificial: offering up something desired for a greater cause

Below is a list of individuals with differing responsibilities. Choose the options that best describe the most fruitful versions of each individual:

Jodie is a teacher. a. Jodie breaks down complex ideas into words her students can understand.
b. Jodie hands out lessons and expects her students to teach themselves.

Godwin is a medic. a. Godwin treats each patient as quickly as possible.

Investigative

Conventional

You can best be described as Conventional. You like to work with data, and have numerical or clerical ability. You carry things out in detail or following through on other’s instruction. You tend to prefer structured situations over ambiguous ones.

Enterprising

You can best be described as Enterprising. You like to work with people – influencing, persuading, leading, or managing them for economic gain or for the goals of an  organisation. You also enjoy leadership positions, and dislike details.

Social

You can best be described as Social. You like to work with people – to inform, enlighten, help, train, or cure them, or to help them live up to their potential. You prefer solving problems through discussion. You usually do not prefer to work with things.
